The frame is manufactured from Uni-Directional High Modulus carbon and together with the carbon fork forms the foundation for a perfect balance of weight, stiffness and comfort. The Insight’s frame features a BSA bottom bracket shell, double bottle cage mounts, replaceable aluminium rear dropout and an integrated head tube.
This Verenti Insight features Shimano Ultegra shifters, front and rear mechs and also comes with a Rotor 3D compact chainset (50-34) which features a oversized axle with Rotor BSA threaded BB cups which provide massive lateral and torsional stiffness through the drivechain. The Shimano wide-range cassette and compact chainset will support you tackling the most demanding of climbs.
The Insight Ultegra also features a pair of the popular Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels - reliable and robust for the most demanding of rides. Add a pair of Vredestein Fortezza 700x23c tyres and this combination gives great stability, grip and confidence when at speed or going around corners. 4ZA components (bars, stem, saddle, and seat post) feature at all the contact points and provide the finishing touches to the Insight Ultegra.
This bike is fast, light and comfortable and features a great selection of parts from popular cycling brands. Whether you are an experienced sportive veteran or dedicated beginner looking to enter their first event, the Verenti Insight Ultegra represents outstanding value.

Magazine reviews for Verenti Insight Ultegra - 2013
Review from Cycling Plus
Wiggle's Verenti Range made a big impact when it first appeared, and now there's a new generation and it's looking good. The Insight has a beautifully realised hi-mod carbon frame. The Geometry combines 72/73-degree seat/head angles, standard head-tube and a wheel base of just over a metre, creating a riding position we really like - neither too aggressive nor too slouchy. The frame eschews the latest design touches common to carbon, with a straight 1 1/8in head-tube and a threaded bottom bracket rather than BB30 or press-fit.
First impressions are of the smoothness: the frameset's supple ride makes mincemeat out of the road chatter and tarmac imperfections, though it's also taught and responsive when you stanmp on hard the pedals, courtesy of the oversize, square profile down-tube and chunky chain stays.
Value, too, is outstanding. The drivetrain combines Shimano Ultegra mechs and shifters with a classy Rotor 3D chainset, while the finishing kit is from 4ZA. And although the Fulcrum Racing 7s are a basic wheelset, they're the best among their peers.
On the downside, while the brakes look funky the single-pivot cam design lacks the power of the Ultegra equivalent - though the soft compound pads go a fair way to avoid this - and although the all-exterior cabling makes servicing simple, there's no provision for internally-routed electronic drivetrains, which could be a deal breaker if you like the idea of upgrading. But if we'd capped the price point at £1500, there wouldn't be much that could touch the Insight.
In conclusion...
Accomplished ride, excellent kit and understated finish - one of the classiest here!
