The Quantum is unashamedly the fastest road machine Avanti have ever built. Through their ADT process Avanti have optimised the carbon combination and lay up to give a light, visually arresting frame with unparalleled stiffness and power transfer. The bikes exceptional performance continues to be demonstrated by their champion road teams and triathletes as they ride at the top of their game.
Manufactured from ADT R3 carbon, the Quantum is nimble, fast and delivers responsive handling that is provided by the race performance geometry and the 1.5 - 1 1/8 tapered carbon fork. It accelerates like a cat on caffeine with reflexive responsiveness to match.
The Quantum benefits from new technologies EPS (Ethyl PolyStyrene) and HTR (High Toughness Resin) which means you benefit from a lighter, stronger carbon frame. So you can push harder and go faster in a tense race situation and come out ahead of the game. Additional torsional stiffness is achieved from the oversized bottom bracket (BB86).
Coupled with this technology, the frame has a mix of internal/external cable routing, double water bottle bosses and a braze-on front mech.
The Quantum is equipped with Shimano's 105 10 speed components, including a double chainset - 53/39 chainrings. 20 race gears are at your disposal thanks to the 11-25 rear cassette so if power is what you want, the Quantum can deliver. Braking is progressive and also thanks to 105 and inturn clamp around a set of DT Swiss R1900 wheels. These wheels give excellent reliability and performance and have a set of Kenda Kadence 700x23c tyres wrapped around them.
Finally the finishing kit is thanks to Zero and their Attack Pro range. This includes the handlebars, stem and seatpost, which is carbon (31.6mm) plus their Zelix Pro saddle.
Experience the super responsive power transfer and acceleration that will make other riders envious. Each one is fully built, tested and tuned by Wiggle's team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure you're bike arrives in perfect condition.
