Speed. Speed. And More Speed.
When Castelli first launched the Sanremo speed suit it caused quite a stir and it changed how pro cyclists dressed for racing. Out went aero-inefficient separate jersey and shorts and in came a smooth, aero and brilliantly comfortable all-in-one design.
The Sanremo 4.0 Speed Suit retains the front opening design of its predecessors, so you still get the convenience of a jersey/shorts set up but the integration of the upper and lower section delivers incredible aero gains. Seams are carefully positioned out of the airflow, vortex fabric on the legs minimises drag while the careful tailoring of the suit provides incredible comfort alongside those aerodynamic gains. At thirty to fifty kilometres an hour, it's frighteningly efficient through the air.
Uncompromised Comfort
Going fast will soon see body temperature rise and sweat build. However, Castelli uses the very latest performance fabrics to keep you dryer, more comfortable and cooler than ever. In particular, the 3D mesh back is quick to draw moisture off the skin and allow airflow in to speed up sweat evaporation. Practicality hasn't been overlooked either. The rear pockets have been narrowed for better aerodynamics and there's now 2 big pockets rather than 3 small ones. The result is easier access in the heat of a race.
Progetto X2 Air Seamless Seat Pad
Inside the suit is Castelli's acclaimed Progetto X2 Air Seamless seat pad. So why is it so incredibly comfortable? It starts with the first contact point against the skin. This upper skin-care material is now seamless and even softer than previous versions letting you enjoy smooth and chafe-free pedalling, no matter the distance. The next layer, Castelli’s infinitely variable thickness padding, imparts just the right level of support where you need it, thicker under the sit bones and thinner on the sides and under the perineum - the result is intense comfort with reduced bulk.
Lastly, to really push home superior comfort levels, perforated viscous padding is added under the highly sensitive ischial and perineum pressure areas, offering luxurious support when you're on the saddle for hours on end.

Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
