This bundle features a pair of Continental Grand Sport Extra road bike tyres. Ideal for riders who enjoy going the extra distance, each tyre is equipped with a high-quality PureGrip compound for a fantastic balance of durability and grip, wherever your next ride takes you. These also feature the brand's Double NyTech Breaker for excellent resistance against punctures while also providing lower rolling resistance and reduced weight. From long-distance journeys to commuting and adventure riding, their proven racing tyre contour ensures responsive handling and a secure grip.
Based on activated silica compounds, this technology was originally intended as a performance level compound, but after intensive development at Continental's German R&D facility, an advanced compound with outstanding grip and cross-country properties was developed. This revised rubber mix, given the self-explanatory name “PureGrip”, is ranked just behind the brand's BlackChili Compound and is being used in its performance products both in the road and mountain bike sectors. Whilst providing great grip, it is also long-lasting and highly durable – both characteristics of Continental tyres, which are exclusively manufactured in the factory in Hefei (Asia).
The NyTech Puncture Protection has been developed based on the proven Continental SafetySystem Breaker. Its nylon fabric makes it resistant to punctures and cuts like Kevlar reinforced high strength fibres, but offers lower rolling resistance and reduced weight. The NyTech breaker sits between the SafetySystem and the PolyX Breaker as a more effective puncture protection casing in the performance sector.

Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
