The Forerunner 945 streamlines your devices by syncing your playlists from selected premium music streaming services such as Deezer, Spotify and more for ad-free listening on the move. You can also store up to 1,000 songs right to the watch and transfer music from your computer library as well. To listen to your music via your watch, simply sync a pair of compatible Bluetooth headphones (not included).

The watch tracks your VO2 max in real time taking into account your current surrounding’s temperature and altitude. Meanwhile, Training Status evaluates your recent exercise history and performance comparing it to your current training session so you know whether you’re training productively, peaking, or overreaching. Aerobic and Anaerobic Training Effects show how your workouts influence the development of endurance, speed, and power. When you’ve finished training the Recovery feature helps you maximise the benefit of your training by predicting when you will be ready for your next training session. Training Load measures your exercise volume from the last 7 days and compares it to the optimal range for your fitness and recent training history.

Whether you're road running or taking things off the beaten path, the watch comes with built-in mapping to help keep you on track. Full-colour mapping comes preloaded and is specifically designed for at-a-glance navigation and location tracking. Trendline Popularity Routing uses data gathered from the Garmin Connect app to help you find and follow the best trails and routes that have been well tested by other members of the Garmin community. The watch also comes with full compatibility with GPS, GLONASS and Galileo satellites which can keep you tracked even in the most extreme environments.

Connectivity

Easily pair your Forerunner 945 with your compatible smartphone, using Bluetooth, to access a whole host of connectivity features. Stay in touch and receive text messages, social media alerts, emails, and more right to your wrist.
