Grangers know that the idea of looking after your down items can be scary. We’ve all heard horror stories about Down items being ruined when not looked after properly and unfortunately, this leaves many people refusing to risk refreshing their down-filled items, especially the jackets they’ve invested in. Well, with the Grangers Down Care kit, there’s no longer a need to worry. The kit includes a simple-to-use Wash + Repel Down 2 in 1 which cleans and proofs in one wash cycle and ensures your down-filled and synthetic down-filled items will return to maximum performance in no time at all. The dryer balls are also a welcome inclusion as these gently restore the loft in your down items and prevent clumping. People often make the mistake of using tennis balls however, because of their weight, this can damage delicate down fibres and also run the risk of their colour leaking onto your beloved jacket.
1. Use two 50ml capfuls per large item or two smaller items. Use one cap if handwashing.
2. Pour product directly into the detergent drawer of your washing machine.
3. Wash on a full cycle at 30°C or according to care label instructions.
4. Once washed, check down is evenly distributed, add dryere balls and periodically check throughout the drying cycle.
5. Once completely dry, you're good to go!
