This frame is the perfect platform from which to build up your dream aggressive high-performance trail bike. Built around a full UD woven carbon fibre frameset, it’s as at home on the most technical trails as it is on technical descents, and will guide you down the most challenging routes with ease. These capabilities are thanks to the frame’s hydro-formed tube set and carbon seat stays, which help to ensure consistent handling with a low unsprung weight. This low weight also makes the suspension as active as possible, smoothing out the roughest routes so you can maintain speed and control.
4 Bar Horst Linkage Rear Suspension
In addition to a low overall frame weight, the Reactor 290 frame has a 4 bar horst linkage back end. This gives increased anti-squat for when you’re riding in the climbing gears to attack a climb and lower anti-squat for putting the power down. This means your custom rig will not only climb efficiently, it will become a trail hooligan on the way down! Plus, the combination of low anti-squat and progressive rate provides outstanding small bump compliance to remove trail chatter, great mid-stroke support for cornering/pumping and end stroke progression for aggressive riding. Nukeproof’s extensive testing has found that this frame's anti-rise figures allow it some squat when braking hard, maintaining your riding position and giving the ideal amount of pressure through the tyre, to ensure traction.
Adjustable Frame Geometry
To give you the edge on the most challenging trails, you can also adjust the geometry of this frame to suit your riding style and the trails your ride. This is as the Reactor features “flip-chip” adjustment on the rear linkage. The “Trail” mode, as the name suggests, is best for trail riding, giving you the perfect balance of a steeper head and seat angle for maximum pedalling efficiency and still ideal position for descending at pace. The “Rail” setting turns your ride into a real corner shredder, by dropping the bottom bracket by 6mm and the head angle by half a degree, maximising this frame's descending capabilities.

Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
