The Nucleus has won MBR's under £500 hardtail of the year award for the last four years running and this new Nucleus VRW is constructed with a low and slack geometry for easy mounting on and off the bike and provides a larger standover height for enhanced handling control and confidence.
This female-specific trail bike features a 2x9-Speed transmission from Shimano to blast you up the steepest hills with ease and rocket back down with confidence. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes control your momentum as you zip from trail to trail and enables you to scrub speed accurately in all weather conditions. This confidence-inspiring bike build is fitted to a robust, lightweight and stylish frame, complete with a trail-smoothing suspension fork from SR Suntour and wide WTB i30 rims. The Nucleus is Vitus' most popular bike for a reason and easily delivers the most important elements of mountain bike trail riding in a package that won't break the bank.
Rest assured that each bike is fully built, tested and tuned by Wiggle's team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure your bike arrives in perfect condition. Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
